The expungement process will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to complete if the following steps are complete and SLED approves your Order.

Three (3) Money Orders Are Required With Your Application:

Fill out and Submit an Application first.
Prepare a $250.00 Money Order made payable to:
"16th Circuit Solicitor's Office"
for each requested Expungement.
Prepare a $25.00 Money Order made payable to:
"SLED" or "South Carolina Law Enforcement Division"
($25 Conviction Expungement | $0.00 for Dismissed Expungement)
Prepare a $35.00 Money Order made payable to:
"Clerk of Court Expungement"
($25 Conviction Expungement | $0.00 for Dismissed Expungement)
Wait to be contacted for next steps via phone, email, or mail at provided phone number, email address, or residencial address provided

Submitting an application for expungement does not guarantee that the charge(s) can be removed from my criminal record. The South Carolina Legislature and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) determine Eligibility for expungement. Laws regarding expungements are subject to change at any time with or without notice.
