DUI UNIT

Impaired driving is a serious problem in South Carolina and York County is no exception. All first offense charges of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Driving with an Unlawful Alcohol Concentration (DUAC) filed by the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), the York County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO), and the Fort Mill Police Department (FMPD) are handled in the Centralized DUI Court. Our DUI Unit is a group of dedicated attorneys who work to resolve those cases in a timely and fair manner. Our attorneys also provide legal training in the complex area of DUI investigation and enforcement in order to better equip law enforcement with the tools necessary for the successful prosecution of impaired drivers in our county.
